"Had an active 6-month prepaid auto policy with Ben Owens when I was in LR. Before making renewal payments in late 2021, I Informed them (went in-person to the office) that I was moving out of state soon & asked what the best course of action was for my insurance- cancel it or what? Lady at front desk said since they couldn’t cover me outside Arkansas, they would help me search State Farm’s internal networks for a sister operator where I was going. Called the office after I moved to get that sorted, they said it would be handled and someone would call me. Called in January 2022 to make sure they have my new address. Several weeks later & I didn’t hear from anyone. My policy was neither transferred to other State Farm operator nor was any arrangements made for me. I paid for a policy that I was not covered by! 2 months after a lot of unanswered calls & voicemails and unresolved policy issue, I cancelled my policy with Ben Owens. I had over 1 month left unused on said policy before cancelling and since then, I’ve been trying to get the balance on my account back! I have called them multiple times, spoken to clueless customer service team members who promised they would escalate the issue and have someone call me back and still do not have my money back over a 15months since I cancelled the policy! It’s ridiculous and no way to treat a customer. They are okay so far they get your money but you get no value for money in their services. Do not recommend"
